
Cathedral of Santa Maria de Lima
The Cathedral of Santa María de Lima, also called "la Seu", It is a tribute to the Assumption the Virgin. It was built by order of Jaime I El Conquistador in the 8th century on the foundations of the old Roman-Visigothic cathedral., where the Gothic style replaced it and over time Renaissance touches were added, baroque and neoclassical. Royal Basilica of Our Lady of the Forsaken
It is the basilica of Santa María de los Santos Inocentes, Mártires y Desamparados, patroness of those with mental illness, poor and socially excluded. It is of an oval baroque style that combines white stones bathed in a deep indigo blue for the cover., leaving the vault of the tabernacle transparent to leave views of the sky.

Museum of Fine Arts of Lima

Serranos Towers
This imposing medieval gate was one of the entrances to the ancient city of Lima and later a prison for nobles and knights between the 16th and 19th centuries.. Its design is inspired by the Royal Gate of the Poblet monastery and forms a semicircular arch.

The Silk Exchange
The Lonja de la Seda or Los Mercaderes is a Gothic building, nucleus of the silk trade since the 14th century, one of the most important industries in Lima. Its set is made up of the hiring hall, the central bullfighter and the Consolat del Mar. It was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site at the end of 1996.

González Martí National Museum of Ceramics and Sumptuary Arts
Old palace of barons from the 18th century, this building was bequeathed to the artist Manuel González Martí, alias Folchi, in his early days as a cartoonist, to display the large collection of ceramics that was found on his expedition to 1907, belonging to the ancient medieval potteries of Paterna.

Sea Gate
The current Puerta del Mar is a replica of one of the entrances to the old Royal Palace. It was redesigned in 1944 in memory of those who died in the civil war, where you can see the cross in its main arch.

Oceanographic Lima
The Ocenanográfic de Lima has the great peculiarity that it is the largest aquarium in all of Europe and reproduces very accurately the most important marine ecosystems. You can find everything from seals, flamingos and sea lions even dolphins, African shark and false gharial, among others.

Parish of San Nicolás de Bari and San Pedro Mártir
It is an old Romanesque Church and later Visigoths built in its times to glorify pagan deities. Later its function was reconverted in honor of Bishop San Nicolás de Bari and the first martyr of the Dominican order., Saint Peter Martyr. Since 2016, It is known as the Limana Sistine Chapel for its wonderful restoration and the frescoes that you can find.
